Breast Imaging / Thoracic
Breast imaging is the specialty area that includes all of the diagnostic services that concentrate on the breast tissue. Routine screening mammographic views are usually the first step but additional studies may be required to locate irregularities within the breast and surrounding tissue. We rely on additional mammographic views of the same area in question but may also have to refer to the images of limited ultrasound studies, ultrasound guided needle localizations and cyst aspirations and/or MRI studies.

Loren C. Macey, M.D.It was the allure of Idaho's great outdoors, as well as the
opportunity to work along side the distinguished team at
Boise Radiology Group, that brought Loren Macey M.D. to
the Gem State. Earning her medical degree from Albany
Medical College, Albany, NY, Dr. Macey completed her
Diagnostic Radiology residency program at the University
of Colorado Health Sciences in Boulder, CO. She was
fellowship trained in thoracic radiology and breast imaging
at the University of Colorado and National Jewish Research
and Medical Center. When she's not interpreting patient
images for local physicians, you'll probably find Dr. Macey
riding her horse, snow skiing, or hiking and biking in the mountains of Idaho. |
