In 2011 Dr. McMahan graduated from University of Washington School of Medicine. After completing an internship in Boise, he traveled to Indiana University in Indianapolis for his diagnostic imaging residency program. Completing this program in 2016, Dr. McMahan attended a Musculoskeletal Fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City IA. After completing his fellowship in June 2017 Dr. McMahan joined Boise Radiology Group. In his free time Dr. McMahan enjoys Bluegrass and Celtic fiddle and guitar, camping, woodworking and spending time with his wife and kids. Dr. McMahan is also proficient in Spanish.
