Dr. Erin Taylor is a board-certified diagnostic radiologist with fellowship training in abdominal and pelvic imaging dedicated to delivering thoughtful, high-quality, patient-centered care. She brings expertise and compassion to every interpretation, approaching each case as a person in need of help rather than simply as a collection of images.

Dr. Taylor earned her medical degree from Harvard Medical School before completing an internship in pediatrics at Boston Children’s Hospital and Boston Medical Center. Prior to this, she graduated summa cum laude from Fordham University. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency and Body MRI fellowship at Yale New Haven Hospital, where she also served as an attending radiologist in the Emergency Radiology division during her fellowship.

Throughout her training, Dr. Taylor has received numerous honors and awards, including serving as Chief Resident and being named Fellow of the Year during her time at Yale New Haven Hospital. She was selected as an American College of Radiology (ACR) Moorefield Fellow. Her research has received national recognition, including a RSNA Magna Cum Laude award for her presentation on ovarian masses and publication of her work in RadioGraphics.

Prior to joining Boise Radiology Group, Dr. Taylor practiced in both academic and community settings, providing subspecialty abdominal and pelvic imaging services to hospitals and imaging centers across multiple states.

Dr. Taylor specializes in abdominal and pelvic imaging, with particular expertise in MRI. Her clinical interests include oncologic imaging, women’s pelvic imaging, prostate MRI, abdominal and pelvic pain, ovarian mass characterization, and advancing patient-centered approaches to radiology. She believes the best radiology combines technical excellence with thoughtful collaboration and an understanding that every image represents a patient seeking answers.

In her free time, Dr. Taylor treasures spending time with her family, including her husband and two children, performing music with the Taylor Family Band, gardening, cooking, attending live music events, and traveling.
