James Katrivesis, M.D.

Dr. Katrivesis is board certified in both Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology. Prior to joining our group, he was the Medical Director for Interventional Radiology at the University of California Irvine Medical Center. After graduating with AOA honors from the University of California Irvine medical school, Dr. Katrivesis completed his training at Georgetown University after attending a surgical internship at the University of California at Davis. He has experience in the full spectrum of interventional procedures from embolization for trauma to advanced endovascular techniques to treat pulmonary embolism. His practice is focused on minimally invasive treatments for a wide variety of conditions including prostate artery embolization for BPH and cryoablation for renal cell carcinoma. Other clinical interests also include TIPS and BRTO for portal hypertension as well as advanced ablation and Y90 radioembolization for hepatic malignancies. In his free time, Dr. Katrivesis enjoys boating and camping with his wife and three children.
