Early in his formal education, Dr. Russell W. Wright balanced his passion for academic excellence with his love of baseball. While working his way to graduating summa cum laude and as Valedictorian from Dixie Junior College in Utah, he also earned baseball accolades as an Academic All-American. He then traveled to the University of Chicago to complete his undergraduate degree where he was a fixture on the Dean’s list and was elected a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society. He earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX where he stayed for his internship as well as residency in Diagnostic Radiology. Dr. Wright finished his training at Massachusetts General Hospital where he completed a fellowship in Abdominal Imaging. In his free time Dr. Wright enjoys water skiing, camping, softball, and spending time with his wife and kids.
